Training Camp MVP Power Ranking
It’s OFFICIALLY NFL Hype Season. The 2023-2024 season is right around the corner and we decided to read the tea leaves on who the MVP front runners are before the first snap is taken.
Sure the books might give you odds, but you’re going to be a step behind unless you’re looking at what the teams are saying in training camp.
How could a player like Darnell Wright or Dalton Kincaid get MVP hyper? Well….
Without further ado, here are the Training Camp MVP Power Rankings Vol. 1
1) Amon-Ra St. Brown
Did you know Amon-Ra has the most receptions in history to start his career? Amon-Ra is saying all the right things in camp and is already beating every player in the Detroit secondary for touchdowns. I’ll admit, Amon-Ra does have an advantage over some other guys on this list….since he’s played football in the NFL.
2) Darnell Wright
Darnell Wright is shooting up the board. From 0 MVP votes last season to the runner-up in our opening rankings. So far, the Bears rookie right tackle has already: accidentally trained for the Wide Receiver conditioning test and made more 3’s than Ben Simmons. Wright already seems to be the steal of the draft
3) Dalton Kincaid
2 Rookies in the top 3 spots? Well, look out NFL because another 0 MVP votes from last season lands on the charts. Kincaid is showing up in 11-on-11, in full pads and DUSTING reserve safteys. Hell, he even looks good in the Wes Welker helmet.
4) Russell Wilson
Our number 4 spot goes to the only guy who can ruin Nipsey Hussle. What launches Rus from scrub to star? That man is running again. Picture it now, in Week 15, the Sean Payton lead Broncos are 10-3 and keeping pace for the division title. 4th and 4, Rus boots out around Aiden Hutchenson and runs 15 yards to seal the win.
5) Brian Robinson Jr.
Brian Robinson’s career started off just about as badly as anyone could have. After fighting off a carjacking and getting shot twice in the process, the tall herky-jerky running back out of Alabama soared into the hearts of fans league-wide with his giant hats and efficient running late in the season. All the talk in camp is about how he plans to improve on last year and how he plans on using a strong camp for momentum. While he doesn’t have the camp highlights of the other 4 juggernauts on this list, keep an eye out for Robinson to start climbing the rankings.
