AEW All Out 2025 – Predictions

ALL OUT PREDICTIONS THUMBNAIL

Toronto, the Land of Great Canadians: Auston Matthews, Jakob Poeltl, Vladimir Guerrero Jr, and now, the AEW Roster.

That’s right, folks, it’s All Out and we are here to predict all 6 ½ hours of it for you, the adoring public. If you’re fuckin’ new here or something, we run a year-long (Wrestlemania to Wrestlemania) contest where we pick the winners of EVERY match of EVERY major PPV/PLE (for WWE or AEW) for the whole year and keep track the entire time. I won the inaugural year, and as a reward, I have to write these intros and got nothing else. So far this year, Mike has a 40-13 record after a 5-1 performance at Clash in Paris, and I have a little bit of a delta to make up, sitting at 30-23.

We have two PPVs to predict this weekend with Wrestlepaloza counterprogramming All Out, but for now, let’s get to it with some All Out.

AEW All Out Predictions

Adam Copeland & Christian Cage vs FTR (Cash Wheeler & Dax Hardwood)

ADAM: This match better be good because it steamrolled a few different storylines on the way to setting up this match, including turning the Patriarchy, one of the best names for a stable in wrestling, into a d-level act on the show. The smart money is on the Toronto Boys to go over to get the audience hot. Still, there’s always a chance that the Canadian audience leaves Scotia Bank Arena disappointed, 5 months later than they’re used to.

ADAM COPELAND & CHRISTIAN CAGE

MIKE: It was clear that we were headed for this match; the second FTR turned heel. Cope and Cage winning here in their hometown would work; however, I don’t think this is where the feud ends. FTR ruining the Toronto boys’ homecoming would be a great way to get heat and build up to another match between these teams. I just hoped they learned something from Cage and Cope’s match at Forbidden Door. Christian should be doing 70% of the in-ring work, with Copeland getting the hot tag and coming in for big spots. Both men may be in their 50s, but just like when they were in their 20s, Cage is better in the ring.

FTR

AEW Men’s World Championship:

“Hangman” Adam Page(c) vs Kyle Fletcher

MIKE: This company is really all in on Kyle Fletcher. I have to ask, though, is this the world title match if they didn’t have Cope/Cage vs FTR as the main event? (No idea if it would just be shocked if it isn’t).  Don’t get me wrong, Fletcher is indeed great in the ring, but the character is not ready to win the belt. This match has NJPW booking vibes. Take a top mid-card guy and have him challenge for the world title. He loses, but it’s in a hard-fought back-and-forth match. It gives Fletcher a boost in defeat and adds to the overarching story of him working his way up the ranks in AEW.

“HANGMAN” ADAM PAGE

ADAM: The big red herring here is the stipulation that if the Don Calis family gets involved, Fletcher is DQed and loses the TNT Title. To be clear, the TNT Title is not on the line UNLESS the Don Calis family gets involved. I’m not sure how many layers deep this is, but it could be a signal that someone else is going to get involved and cost Hangman the belt. Maybe it’s time we make all these Randy Orton/Kyle Fletcher comps legit.

KYLE FLETCHER

AEW Women’s World Championship 4-Way:

“Timeless” Toni Storm(c) vs Jamie Hayter vs Kris Statlander vs Thekla

ADAM: There isn’t a clear and obvious threat to Toni in this match from a storyline perspective. Hayter is a former World Champion, and Statlander has the juice to be one one day, and also Thekla is in the match, but with Toni Storm’s reign running over 200 days now, I don’t see a 4-Way match being the way she loses the belt.

“TIMELESS” TONI STORM

MIKE: When you have multiple options that you could book in a world title match, but don’t have a clear top choice, it’s never bad to say, “Screw it, put them all in there.” While I agree that the three challengers don’t pose a real threat to Storm from a story standpoint, the Fatal Four Way gimmick at least opens up the possibility that she could lose without even being involved in the finish. With that said, Toni wins here. She didn’t drop the belt to Mone, and that tells me that the company is in this title reign for the long run. Keep raising the stakes and stacking the odds against Storm; the more she overcomes those odds, the bigger it will be when she eventually loses.

“TIMELESS” TONI STORM

ADAM: If the match isn’t in WWE, it’s not a Fatal Four-Way, you dork.

MIKE: I just changed it to four-way, now who’s the dork, you super dork.

ADAM: (to the audience) Hey folks, Adam here. Quick behind-the-scenes look, I’m the editor here at TalentAlone.com, and I changed it back to Fatal Four-Way because NO ONE CALLS ADAM HESS A SUPER DORK AND GETS AWAY WITH IT!

Coffin Match:

Jon Moxley vs Darby Allin

MIKE: We all know how this match is ending. The Death Riders are going to gang up on Darby, but just before Mox shuts the coffin, the lights will go out, and when they come back on…IT’S STIIIIIIING!!!!

DARBY ALLIN

ADAM: Hey Mike, what do you call a match where the people involved didn’t get a flu vaccine?

MIKE: What?

ADAM: A coughin’ match.

MIKE:….god damnit. I walked right into that one.

DARBY ALLIN

Tables ‘n’ Tacks Match:

MJF vs Mark Briscoe

ADAM: I’m really hoping this is the blowoff to this feud and both workers can move on to bigger and better things. This storyline has overwritten the Hurt Syndicate storyline that I thought had more to offer than this Mark Briscoe thing, but both guys are consummate pros. We’ll probably get some good comedy moments with MJF taking a bump through tacks, and I’m not sure if the tacks or tables are required for a victor, but if it doesn’t overstay its welcome, it’ll be a hoot.

MJF

MIKE: Not to be “that guy,” but it feels like practically every hardcore gimmick match in AEW has spots that feature both thumbtacks and tables. I guess this match is going to have an excessive amount of tables and tacks? Calling it right now, at some point in this match, Briscoe is pulling out a table that is covered in tacks. Bummer for the ring crew guy who has to glue all those thumbtacks onto it. Just like Page defending his title against Fletcher, this is a solid detour for MJF to take to kill time before going to a Page v Friedman rematch. Maxwell is going to take a bloody beating, and Briscoe will take a ludicrous bump leading to his defeat. Now that I think about it, there’s also a non-zero percent chance that someone also pulls out a kiddie pool full of thumbtacks.

MJF

AEW Unified Championship 3-Way:

Kazuchika Okada(c) vs Konosuke Takeshita vs Mascara Dorada

MIKE: We are on the road to Takeshita turning face and having a one-on-one match with the Rainmaker. This match will ramp up the tension in that story and give us a little taste of it. Hell, I wouldn’t count out the Don Callis family beating the crap out of Takeshita after this match. That could lead to a fun tag match of Konosuke and Omega vs Okada and Fletcher. Sorry, started fantasy booking. This match will end with Okada getting wrist control on somebody and putting them down with a RAAAAAAIINMAKEEEER

KAZUCHIKA OKADA

ADAM: I think there is a world where, if the third person in this match were someone closer to the top of the card, the storyline could be Okada and Takeshita beat the piss out of each other, and the third person sneaks out the win. That could launch the Takeshita/Okada/Don Calis feud that leads to something more substantial, but I think this is an Okada vs Takeshita match with Mascara Dorada involved, and my heart says Takeshita, but I’m gonna go with my gut on it instead.

KAZUCHIKA OKADA

AEW Word Tag Team Championship 4-Way Ladder Match:

Brodido (Brody King & Bandido)(c) vs The Young Bucks vs JetSpeed vs Don Callis Family (Hechicero & Josh Alexander)

ADAM: What is there to say about this match besides “Sure.”

BRODIDO

MIKE: After losing the EVP titles, The Youngbucks have now gotten back their entrance music, names, and pyro. Is it so crazy to think they get back the tag titles, too?

THE YOUNG BUCKS

The Hurt Syndicate (Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin, & MVP) vs Ricochet & Gates Of Agony (Bishop Kaun & Toa Liona)

MIKE: I have no idea what direction The Hurt Syndicate is going, and Ricochet is cool, but I don’t care about the Gates of Agony. This feels like a match that belongs on Dynamite instead of a PPV that will go five hours. The Hurt Syndicate is the stronger act between the two.

THE HURT SYNDICATE

ADAM: I know this feud is warranted and built, but Mike is right that, as of now, this feels more like a pre-show match. I think the best world here is that this match is awesome and has some minor issues (leg rope break, low blow, etc.) to give us an excuse for another, more meaningful match. I was firmly in the camp of the hurt Syndicate not needing the belts, but this match makes the case that maybe it wouldn’t have hurt to keep them on top of the division.

RICOCHET & GATES OF AGONY

Eddie Kingston vs Big Bill

ADAM: We are constantly set up for disappointment with an Eddie Kingston match because the chance of him showing up covered in blood, holding a can of gasoline, prepared to kill a man, is near zero. Technically, Eddie Kingston hasn’t accepted the match yet, and technically, Eddie Kingston is from New York, so I’m not sure why he’s supposed to come defend the honor of Philadelphia after Bil Bill insulted Rocky, but if we ignore that, this could be a really fun 15-minute match with a huge pop for Kingston’s return.

EDDIE KINGSTON

MIKE: We all love Eddie Kingston, and I agree that he’s going to get a huge pop. It’s going to be wild when he comes out jacked to the gills with only 10% body fat and military presses Big Bill eight rows into the crowd.

EDDIE KINGSTON

TBS Championship:

Mercedes Mone(c) vs Riho

MIKE: Riho is great at all, but I will legally change my name to Sasha Banks if she actually wins the belt in this match. AEW really needs to either build up or find some good challengers for Mone. Speak of which, stop being a bum, Tony Kha,n and sign Maki Itoh.

MERCEDES MONE

ADAM: I wonder when we’re going to get Top Belt Mercedes. She lost the match for the title a few months ago and is carrying more gold than Scrooge McDuck in Fort Knox, but it does seem like a holding pattern until we get Mone/Storm II.

MERCEDES MONE

10 Matches, 4 disagreements. I can’t make up the whole deficit this PPV alone, but lucky for us, there is two PPVs this weekend. Be sure to check out our other predictions for Wrestlepalooza and continue or year long competition to Mania.
